Transparent Teleprompter (“we,” “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (very little) when you use the Windows app, the website at transparentprompter.com, and the free online teleprompter tool.

2. Data we do not collect

• Scripts and text: All scripts you enter stay on your device or in your browser. We never collect, store, or transmit your content.
• Accounts: There are no user accounts, logins, or registration.
• Payment information: The app is free. All payments are handled by the Microsoft Store; we never see or store payment details.

3. Data we may collect

• Website analytics: The Site may use privacy-friendly analytics to count page views and understand which pages are visited. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
• Microsoft Store diagnostics: If you install the app from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may collect crash reports and basic telemetry per their own privacy policy.

4. Phone remote control

When you use the QR code remote control feature, your phone connects directly to the app on your local network. No data passes through our servers.

5. Cookies

The Site may use essential cookies for basic functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Third-party services

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The app is distributed through the Microsoft Store. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.

7. Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
